You are invited to attend our Military Officer Job Fair from 9 am to 12:00 noon on July 24, and December 4 (tentative), 2020. There will also be a career transition seminar starting at 8 am. At the job fair, you can meet face-to-face with dozens of employers in a wide range of fields. All types of jobs. Local and nationwide career opportunities!


Free and open to all transitioning or former (separated or retired) military officers of all ranks, commissioning sources, and branches of service; active duty, National Guard, and Reserve. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

Below is the list of registered companies from the last event. This list will be replaced as it gets closer to the Job Fair.


* Refine your resume until it represents you in the best possible light; bring many copies of your resume.

* Practice your 30 seconds sales pitch.

* Research the companies in advance; know all you can about their products and services.

* Dress for success -- either a business suit or coat and tie are recommended for men; equivalent attire for women.

* Get a copy of the Employer Directory at the registration table. Read it.

* Project a professional image at all times.

* Be positive/upbeat.

* Meet with all the companies -- you never know where the "right" opportunity may be.

* Keep your options open. Stay flexible.

* Be respectful of the recruiter's time -- provide a brief, accurate glimpse of who you are, what you're looking to do, your geographic preference, and when you will be available to start work.

* Defer questions about salary requirements until later in the interview process.

Business attire is recommended -- dress as you would for a job interview. Duty uniform is also acceptable attire.

DIRECTIONS to Army Navy Country Club in Arlington:

From 95/495

  1. Take 395 North to Exit 7B (North Glebe Road).
  2. Stay on Glebe Road for about a half-mile and make a right turn on to 17th Road.
  3. 17th Road quickly splits into 18th Street (right) and 17th Road (left)- bear to the right, which will be 18th Street and is a residential area.
  4. Stay on 18th Street as it will become the entrance to Army Navy Country Club.
  5. The Clubhouse is straight ahead.
From Washington
  1. Cross the 14th Street Bridge and following the Signs for 395 South.
  2. Stay on 395 South until Exit 7 (Glebe Road). Exiting 395 South, stay in the Right Exit Lane and go to the Traffic Light.
  3. At the Traffic Light make a Right Turn on to Glebe Road.
  4. Stay on Glebe Road for about ½ Mile and make a Right Turn on to 17th Road.
  5. 17th Road quickly splits into 18th Street (right) and 17th Road (left), Bear to the Right, which will be 18th Street.
  6. Stay on 18th Street until you see entrance to Army Navy Country Club. The Clubhouse is straight ahead.
From The Pentagon (to East Gate) to the Army Navy Drive Entrance of Army Navy Country Club.
  1. From the Pentagon go to the Army Navy Drive Entrance/Exit.
  2. Make a Right Turn on to Army Navy Drive.
  3. Proceed South for about 1 Mile, looking for the Army Navy Country Club Sign on the Right, which is located at an underpass of Route 395.
  4. Make a Right Turn after the Sign and you will see the main gate of ANCC.
  5. Follow the Road up to the Main Clubhouse at the top of the hill.
  6. Main Parking is to the left and overflow to the right of the Main Clubhouse.
